    Headquarters

Saint-Eustache, Quebec — Where Guitars Are Born

Every Guerilla guitar starts and ends in the same place: our workshop in Saint-Eustache, Quebec. This isn't a factory. There are no conveyor belts, no automated spray booths, no workers assembling parts they've never seen played. It's a hands-on, one-builder shop where Gus K oversees every stage of every instrument.

If you've ever wondered what goes into a custom guitar, here's what happens inside these walls.

    Wood Selection & Preparation

It starts with the wood. Gus sources tonewoods carefully — premium cuts of mahogany, maple, alder, and specialty materials like torrefied maple that offer the resonance and stability of aged vintage wood. Each blank is inspected for grain consistency, weight, and acoustic properties before a single cut is made.

Good guitars start with good wood. There are no shortcuts here.

    Shaping & Routing

Body blanks are shaped and routed with precision. Neck profiles are carved to spec — whether that's a chunky vintage C, a slim modern D, or something custom-designed for your hand. Every contour is checked by feel as much as by measurement, because a neck that plays well has to feel right, not just measure right.

    The Paint Booth

One of the things Guerilla Guitars is known for is its custom finishes. Gus applies finishes by hand — nitrocellulose lacquers, solid colors, bursts, and specialty effects — in multiple thin coats, allowing proper cure time between each layer. This is the same approach used on the great American guitars of the 1950s and 60s, and it produces a finish that looks stunning and ages beautifully.

No thick poly shells. No shortcuts. Just proper finishing, done right.

    Assembly & Wiring

Hardware is fitted, electronics are wired, and pickups are installed with care. Gus selects components that match the character of each build — premium pickups, quality pots and caps, reliable tuning machines. Every solder joint is clean. Every connection is tested.

    Setup & Quality Control

Before any guitar leaves the shop, it goes through a full professional setup: frets leveled and crowned, nut cut to spec, action set, intonation dialed in. The guitar is played — actually played — to make sure it performs the way it should.

If it doesn't meet the standard, it doesn't ship. Simple as that.
